Just weeks before the start of the Major League Professional Baseball (LMBP) season in the country, the ninth Caciques of the Capital District reinforce their pitching. This time they announced the hiring of pitcher Ricardo Gómez.
The Dominican player comes from playing with the Criollos de Caguas from Puerto Rico and competing in the Caribbean Series. In addition, in 2023 he was in the Atlantic League.
In the Atlantic League, the serpentinero posted a 3.70 ERA in 13 appearances where he had 46 fans. In the country, the pitcher has played in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) with the Cardenales de Lara team in the 2017-18 and 2019-20 seasons.
Joseph Rosa and Adalberto Mejía will also be part of the team.
