Cabimas Community mobilizes to participate in the Popular Consultation and prioritize educational projects

From the facilities of the Territorial Polytechnic University of Zulia (UPTZ), the Ambrosio parish community in the municipality of Cabimas actively participated in the Second National Popular Consultation 2026, a process aimed at approving and funding community projects.
Melsis Valdez, a resident of the area, highlighted the sense of commitment that mobilizes the community: “With our participation, we help to solve the things that are needed.”
“There are several needs in the community, but supporting the Pedro Lucas Urribarrí school is vital; its classrooms require urgent repairs to guarantee decent conditions for the children who study there,” he said.
For her part, Dianexy Díaz, a participant in the day, emphasized the call for organization and mass assistance: “I invite the entire community to come and vote. Unity is strength and our main commitment is to school and the education of our children.”
“There are several proposed projects and people can vote for whichever they choose,” Díaz added.
