Cabello: Youth have the capacity to defeat fascism (+Congress)

This Monday, November 11, the first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón,
reaffirmed that “if anyone has the capacity to defeat fascism, it is the youth, the youth of Venezuela and the youth of
the world.”
In this regard, he welcomed the holding of the International Anti-Fascist Youth Congress in the country from 21 to 22
November.
He pointed out that “early detection is
where we have to attack fascism, when it is in its phase of germination, not to
let it grow; we already have a lot of experience, 25 years of seeing cases and
faces, so at this point we cannot let it surprise us again”.
He highlighted that Venezuela, with President Nicolás Maduro, has been at the forefront of that fight. “ We taught the world a lesson, closing the doors to fascism on July 28, we closed it to them electorally. And what did they do? They went to violence and we closed them too, cutting off the path of violence,” he said.
