Cabello: You can scream, kick and lie, but it won't work

The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela
(PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured the opposition member María
Corina Machado this Wednesday that even if she screams, kicks or continues to lie, she will not be able to be our country's presidential candidate for a few years.
“Many people don't remember that Constitution until it suits them, but in this case, since they've never read it, even if you go, they're going to tell you: no matter how much you screamed, kicked, lied and manipulated, you're not going,” Cabello said during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 469.
He also
stressed to the opposition that her tantrums can be for a long time, since “her
problem doesn't end in 2024 because in 2030 she can't be a candidate either and
because in 2036 she can't be a candidate either (...) she can scream if she wants to,” she reiterated.
In that regard, he stressed that those representatives of the opposition who are currently disqualified, not only have they lied to their people and to the international community, but they have attacked this Homeland.
“They called
for invading their own country, they destroyed Venezuela's assets
abroad, they sold them, they handed over the gold; they were all complicit and are
morally unable to lead this country, but beyond what is morally, there
are the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, “the laws apply
and let everyone go to cry where they belong,” he said.
In addition, he referred to the recent plans of the right wing to destabilize the country as a result of their desperation. “The situation is exploding in her hands (...) Mrs. Dignora Hernández ( political secretary of Vente Venezuela), was the administrator of a 'front business', whose real purpose was to grant economic resources to violent groups (...) Fortunately for the tranquility and peace of this country, that plan has been unveiled, they are upside down (...) and all she can do is despair, to become invincible, Meanwhile, those who are involved with her in this type of event, acting in this type of act, are being acted on by justice,” she said and pointed out that they want to copy the same method as Juanito Alimaña (Juan Guaidó).
He stressed
that, in the face of the arrests of opposition members for the above-mentioned crimes,
some of these members of the right wing have approached some embassies.
“Today they came to knock on the door of some ambassadors and the
ambassadors hid, because the ambassadors know that who
these people are, they know about their adventures: 'No, you're not going to get in here
because you're going to get my country into a problem, '” he said.
He stressed that it is clear that the opposition does not learn from its failures and continues to make the same mistakes . “They think that's going to scare us (...) they think we're the same idiots from 2002, no. We are the same, but we are no longer idiots, we have learned something thanks to their mistakes and lack of love for this country, gentlemen of the opposition,” he said.
For
this reason, he reaffirmed that the Bolivarian Revolution will not allow “an
invasion against this people, against this country, against boys and girls (...) That is why we have said it, we are not going to wait
for the marines to enter,
because we will know when they are going to enter and all this is left with
invasions, those who have asked for Tiar, those who have asked for a
blockade, we are going to look for you first before the
marines arrive, rest assured that it will be like this (...) the inept opposition will never and
never power us”.
In turn, he called on the revolutionary forces not to fall into provocations. “That they don't take us off our rails, whoever wants to get rid of them, we continue on the road (...) the most she (María Corina Machado) wants is a photo to send to the world <<here I am being run over >>; no, don't give it to her, let's not fall into the provocations of those groups that what they want is violence for the country. We are heading for the elections of July 28 by whatever path it is,” he said.
The
incoherence of media logic
The revolutionary
leader questioned how the national and
international media machinery always positions revolutionaries as bad, but people like Leopoldo López and Álvaro Uribe, who have been responsible for hundreds of deaths, are
good.
“We are the bad guys and they are the good guys; that's how you see a murderer like Leopoldo López sitting with a murderer like Uribe, and they are the good guys and the dead they killed are the bad guys, that's the media logic that they have imposed,” he said, also referring to how they came out to speak out after the recent arrest of people who wanted to destabilize the country.
He pointed out
that this supposed international community always comes out “to defend what they
don't know”, because “they have already bought the version”, in turn he indicated that
they always come up with the story of “defenders of democracy”, when in
reality their objective is to subvert order, and in this case, so that there are
no elections in the country.
Regarding the electoral process, he dismissed the approach of the European Union (EU), which conditions the sending of a mission of Electoral Observers to Venezuela, depending on the conditions.
“No, we set the
conditions in Venezuela and we decide who we invite.
Whoever comes here has to meet the conditions that
we set, because if not, they have to get out of here,” he said.
He emphasized that the process “has its behavioral protocol, of respect for the country that is welcoming them as a guest. Respect, respect because we are not going to allow anything at all (...) These are elections of the People of Venezuela and the National Electoral Council of Venezuela heads them.”
The US
is behind the protests in Cuba
The deputy to the National Assembly
also denounced that the
United States is behind the recent protests in Cuba, referring to the convenient publication of
the Embassy of that country in supposed solidarity
with the events that occurred in the Greater Antilles.
“This is a confession of the gringos, who are the ones behind all the protests, promoting small groups,” he said.
He also
pointed out that no one denies that in Cuba there are problems such as Venezuela can have,
and even as the United States does, “but the main cause
of Cuba's problems is the blockade of more than 60 years of the United States.”
He pointed out that the United States has big problems, but they don't mind solving it, they are only interested in meddling in the internal affairs of other countries.
