During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, dismissed the approach of the European Union (EU), which conditions the sending of an Electoral Observer mission to Venezuela, depending on the conditions.

“No, we set the conditions in Venezuela and we decide who we invite,” he said.

Cabello emphasized that “whoever comes here must meet the conditions that we set, because if not, they have to get out of here.”

In this regard, broadcast number 469, stated that “we are not going to be monitored by anyone. These are elections of the People of Venezuela and it is the National Electoral Council of Venezuela who heads them.”

He explained that the process “has its behavioral protocol, of respect for the country that is welcoming them as a guest. Respect, respect because we are not going to allow anything at all,” he warned.

“They can do whatever report they want,” he said.

As for the request of the European Parliament, that María con Ira's candidacy be allowed in the upcoming elections, he urged them to take it.

“Take her there and put her as a candidate for whatever you want. If they are arrogant,” he said.
