The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, called on the Venezuelan people not to fall into provocations from the fascist right about calls for marches for Saturday, the same day that the revolutionary militancy plans to take to the streets of the country. “We are going to show the world that they are the violent ones,” he said.

He specified that “imperialism, through its lackey, calls for a provocation of violence in Venezuela; no one is going to eat the story that this is a family gathering, they don't know about family love or affection.”

In that vein, the Pesuvist leader noted that “if we go to the streets, our answer is to go to the streets in all the states of Venezuela, in all the capitals (...) They say ten o'clock, then we go to ten o'clock. When they want us we want, but this is a battle that has to be won, it's on the street (...) Let's do what we have to do to get our people to go out on Saturday to march in peace. We march in peace and joy. Let's not give them an inch of territory that doesn't belong to them!”
