Cabello: We have always promoted national unity

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed this Monday that the Bolivarian Revolution will always promote national union between Venezuelans and Venezuelans.

“We have encouraged unity and promoted national unity for quite some time. If something gives strength to a country, it is national union, the union of Venezuelans and Venezuelans,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

Cabello also referred to the traditional activities of All Souls' Day, which is celebrated every November 2, and recalled the customs of his people in El Furrial, Monagas state.

In addition, he mentioned the different commemorations that take place during this month of November, including the period dedicated to the prevention of violence against women, the blue month for men and activities related to Venezuelan students.

With regard to the latter, Cabello called for the promotion of reading, study and lifelong learning. “You have to study, you have to read, you have to document yourself,” he said, insisting on the importance of understanding and retaining the knowledge acquired.
