Cabello: We fully support all of President Rodríguez's meetings in New York

“We fully support all the steps, all the meetings and all the stages of the visit of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to the United States, where she meets with Heads of State in New York, because she carries the voice of Venezuelans and also the voice of Venezuelan women,” said the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a mobilization to support the president.

Cabello stressed that peace diplomacy has been the historic flag of the Bolivarian Revolution and that it is now up to the first woman at the head of the national executive to represent the country on the multilateral stage. “This has always been our voice, peace diplomacy. Today it's President Delcy Rodríguez's turn, and today she has the dignity of a woman who knows where she is standing, who knows what is going there, who is very clear about her role and that is to defend this country,” she said to those attending the event.

The leader pointed out that these advances are not to the liking of the opposition sectors. “Of course the haters don't like that; the haters are salivating their bitterness thinking that with that poison they are going to poison our people. No, because our people are expectant, because they know that President Rodríguez will come with good news for the country,” he said.

Cabello concluded that the internal work of the party and of the revolutionary forces is to preserve national unity. “Together with the Party, the Great Patriotic Pole, Social Movements, we have worked every day to maintain unity and these are the fruits of that unity, they have yielded positive results.”
