The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, argued that the Venezuelan people should neither worry nor care about the positions of North American imperialism, the European Union (EU) or the world.
“Go to hell with us, we don't care (...) mind your business, because we Venezuelans and Venezuelans deal with the issues of Venezuela,” he emphasized in his speech, at the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc or, at the Simon Bolivar Convention Center of the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base.
In that direction, he urged “let's prepare for everything, the President has called for a popular-military-police structural fusion in defense of the Homeland, because one of the issues that has come up here is how to stop fascism for good”.
“This is cross-cutting across all the tables (of the Congress) because our people were threatened, persecuted and murdered. Let's prepare and build that force for the defense of the Revolution and the operating model of the UPPAZ (Popular Units for Peace),” he said.
Cabello stressed that if the extremist right insists on attacking the country, “we are obliged to continue defending Venezuela, with one difference: impunity is over, justice for true peace in this country.”
