The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized this Thursday that Venezuela continues to demand that El Salvador return the compatriots who have been kidnapped in their country.

“We continue to demand from here, from Venezuela, raising our voices, to the government of El Salvador that has kidnapped the government of El Salvador of Mr. Nayib Bukele to return the Venezuelans; return their children to Venezuela,” said Cabello from Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.

He emphasized that Venezuelans who are in El Salvador are “arbitrarily kidnapped by the government of that country and by the government of the United States.”

“They have not committed any crime in El Salvador or a single crime, they cannot be tried in El Salvador because they have not committed crimes in El Salvador and if they committed crimes in the United States, it is up to the United States government to judge them, to bring them to justice in the United States,” he said.

He specified that these arbitrary actions are carried out by these governments that “assume to be masters of the world”.
