Cabello: We are proud of this ancient force that is standing up to defend the Homeland

Diosdado Cabello Rondón highlighted the importance for the Bolivarian Revolution of the participation of indigenous peoples in the struggle to defend the sovereignty of Venezuela in the face of threats from imperialism and its lackeys of fascism.

In statements made since the March to Commemorate the Day of Indigenous Resistance in the city of Caracas, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) praised the legacy of resistance and struggle of the indigenous peoples as a guide for the generations of this century of battle against North American imperialism and its European allies.

“We are proud of this ancient force capable of defeating the most powerful enemy of that time and today they are fighting back defending the Homeland with Nicolás (Maduro), with the legacy of Commander Chávez, of (Simon) Bolívar and with their own history,” he said.
