Cabello: We are outraged that a fascist like Bukele has kidnapped our compatriots

Venezuelans are outraged that our compatriots are kidnapped, mistreated, as they are being in El Salvador, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

“We are outraged that a fascist like Bukele has our compatriots there. Even if they have committed a crime, it is not justified for them to have it as they do in El Salvador. I don't know if they committed crimes (in the US) or not, what I'm sure of is that they didn't commit any crime in El Salvador,” Cabello highlighted during the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña.

In this regard, he assured that this kidnapping against our compatriots “is not humane” and denounced that with these actions Nayib Bukele is repeating the same thing that the United States did in Guantánamo.

For her part, the deputy Tania Día z, stressed that this action by the Salvadoran government marks a serious precedent for international justice.

“The international opinion on this measure is one of rejection, it is against. The government of El Salvador is setting a very negative precedent for the justice system and for international human rights,” he emphasized.
