This Monday, June 10, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that the revolutionary forces remain alert to attempts at violence and attacks against the Homeland and President Nicolás Maduro.

“We are not going to wait for a disaster to happen in Venezuela, so I say that we are not going to allow violence, we are not going to allow manifestations of hate of any kind,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.

He also recalled the record of violence that the opposition has always had, among which the case of the assassination against President Nicolás Maduro stands out. “Every time they release news they say about the 'alleged attack', that was denied by the mainstream international press (...) they tried to invade this country (...) they have staged a coup d'etat and the opposition denies it,” he said.

In addition, he pointed out that these violent actions are always related to characters such as Julio Borges and Leopoldo López.
