Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said that Venezuelans “fall into the dry and get up in the wet (...) we recover and get ahead of everything that comes our way.”

“The opposition does not deserve another drop of our people's blood or a single drop (...) Peace is a value that Venezuelans defend,” said the leader of the red awning in his Con El Mazo Dando program.

Speaking about Venezuelan women who have returned to the country after living abroad, he said that “they return because they know that the country is at peace and is rising up little by little.”

Cabello assured that the country is on the road to economic recovery and prosperity.

“Thanks to whom is the country recovering? To the gringos? The answer is no. We are rising up with our own efforts.”
