The first vice-president of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSVU), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during
his speech at the Forum: Youth are aware of the
events of April 11, 12 and 13, 2002, specified that Venezuela has
never been protected by the United States, but exploited.
In this regard, Cabello said
that during the Fourth Republic the right to education did not exist, “I lived
in a town and the boys had to go to Maturín to study high school and they woke up at 4 in the morning
and there was no lunch. How did they perform?
Young people couldn't give up, they had to desert
Cabello reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian
Revolution to leave youth a prosperous nation,
“we cannot give you a country in retreat”, while
calling for being prepared for the coming struggles, “they are perhaps the most
important, Commander Chávez always told us that it was not so much what had been achieved but
what could be achieved.”
“We all have
potential energy and we must create the basis for that potential energy to create
real events, in dynamics; and we have been achieving this since Commander
Chávez arrived, we have been achieving it by providing housing to all Venezuelans;
we are achieving this by guaranteeing the study to each of the Venezuelans, in food,” he said.
