The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, referred to the arrest of the American Jill Stein, who is running for the presidency of the United States under the flags of the Green Party “and no one says anything”.

Stein was arrested after expressing her support for the people of Palestine and demanding an end to the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

“A candidate can have one or 100 points in the polls, if we did that here with the vagabonds out there, who deserve it, they condemn us,” he argued.

Stein was arrested at a pro-Palestine demonstration at the University of Washington in Missouri.

“They got into college, they're dragging students, girls and all those who are protesting in favor of Palestine,” he said.

In her Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 474, she reiterated that she is a presidential candidate, “they took her prisoner and it's okay, that she was protesting for life, against death, but she must be taken prisoner.”
