Cabello urges the use of artificial intelligence for the development and well-being of the People

This Monday, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reflected during the press conference of the National Directorate on global technological advances and the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on daily life.

“Artificial intelligence is a reality in the world, artificial intelligence has taken hold. I remember that years ago, since 1999, they talked about telemedicine as an option and people questioned remote surgery or having a doctor consult remotely, and that's it,” said the spokesman for the political organization.

Cabello detailed the scientific scope of these tools when applied to health and diagnosis. “You get into a machine and compare yourself to people of that same age, of your gender and your conditions, and they give you a result attached to a scientific reality, not a reality that occurred to me. Why not use that? But taking advantage of it not for the bad, but for the good,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he urged to place the nation at the forefront of technological innovations applied to social progress. “They use artificial intelligence for evil, for wars; let's use artificial intelligence well, for good. Welcome to artificial intelligence! , if only we could be at the forefront of this issue,” he concluded.
