The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted on Monday the logic of mass
protests in the United States (USA) and other parts of the world against the
policies of the Donald Trump Administration.
“Trump wasn't elected president of the world or emperor of the world by
the people of the United States, they elected him president of the United States.
It is logical that the people of that country complain about him because he has not governed for his
people,” said Cabello during the usual weekly press conference with the red awning.
He noted that Trump must find a way “to govern for
the 70 million people who eat only once a day. He will have to govern
to see how he deals with young people who are dying from drug use.
They will have to govern to see how they can truly solve the
economic problem for the United States.”
In this regard, the senior leader of the PSUV indicated that “it seems
that tariffs are not the most recommended thing, I say because of the world's answers.
Escalating from there doesn't benefit the
American people at all. Hopefully they will dedicate themselves to governing for their people and will solve the
enormous problems that exist within that country.”
