Cabello to the merchants: The Revolution seeks peace of mind so you can work in peace

, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that he maintains full confidence
in the work done by the financial team of the Bolivarian Government, led by Vice President
Delcy Rodríguez, to face destabilizing actions against the country's economy.
“This is not the
first time they have done this, it has been a constant exercise by them (of the
extreme right), since inside they cannot win elections, they use two
fronts: the international one, which is increasingly incredulous in the position of the Venezuelan
opposition (...) and the other is the attack on the financial system,”
he said, referring to the rise of the parallel dollar at a PSUV press conference.
He reaffirmed that, just as the
Bolivarian Revolution has defeated the sectors of the extreme right in other scenarios,
“here too, because when they attack (...) they attack the small merchant, that
is almost a sanction they are applying to him.”
For this reason, he told the People of Venezuela and especially the merchants that “this is not the government, the government wants stability, the Revolution seeks tranquility so that you can work in peace and quiet, the enemies of the Fatherland are others.”
