The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, told the extreme right-wing María Corina Machado that, even if she wears glasses and imitates what revolutionaries do, she cannot hide what she represents.
“Even if you wear glasses my saint, this flow isn't free”, Cabello told Machado during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 484.
He emphasized that unlike the extreme right, revolutionaries “put on the lenses of the People and see what the People see; they put on glasses so as not to see the People, to continue to exclude and mistreat them.”
It is important to note that the Venezuelan extreme right, since the beginning of the campaign for the presidential elections, as well as on other occasions, has copied slogans, jingles and other symbols representative of the Bolivarian Revolution.
