Cabello to Imperialism: Just Like Our Ancestors Did, We Will Kick Them Out of Trying Anything Against Our Country

The Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that, just as Spanish colonialism was driven out by the heroes and heroine of the Homeland in the independence struggle, imperialism will be defeated if it tries to violate the sovereignty of Venezuela.

“Just as we kick them out, so we will stop them from trying something against our country,” Cabello said during an event commemorating the Day of Indigenous Resistance from the National Pantheon.

He stressed that Venezuela is currently facing the most powerful empire in the world but that it will be defeated thanks to the fact that the Homeland has men and women willing to fight as heroes and heroines did during the colonial era.

“The fight that is taking place today, I have no doubt, that history will tell it as a fight similar to the one that our ancestors fought, and what I have no doubt about is that the story will tell just as we will overcome as those of yesterday won,” he emphasized.

“Honor glory to our martyrs and honor and glory to those who fight this fight in the future,” he stressed.
