During the broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, ironized the recurring campaigns and the desperation of the radical opposition when he announced the creation of a curious special recognition to unmask the narratives of the extreme right.

Cabello explained the dynamics of this initiative, stating: “I'm going to give a prize to the cat, you remember a comic called La Gata Loca, and it could be The Crazy Cat the one with the brick or the other way around... For all those who are waiting for me to throw a brick at them but I'm not going to throw it at them, who want me to name them and they get crazy and crazy as soon as the program starts.”

Faced with the constant media manipulation of extremism, he emphasized the selection criteria and the lack of seriousness of these spokespersons: “They start writing 'Diosdado said so' and I'm not going to name them. At the end of the year, I will award a prize to the Cat or the Crazy Cat, which will be chosen for his perseverance and the stupid things he writes. That's very important, don't stop writing stupid things! That has to be on the scale, the level of stupidity counts.”

He also pointed out about the political superiority of the Bolivarian Revolution in the face of the provocations of the Unitary Platform that “I know that you don't need me to give you motivation because that's your specialty... I'll leave them there, a healthy competition between the Crazy Cat or the Crazy Cat who likes me to name them but I'm not going to give them the brick, that day I'll give them their prize,” he said, confirming the triumph of peace and institutionality over the agenda of hate.
