The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that they will be summoned by the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), all those who said that there are witnesses they saw when they kidnapped Edwin Santos, leader of Popular Will.
“They're going to have to bring the witnesses. You can't say that there are witnesses and it's a lie,” Cabello warned during the speech of his Con El Mazo Dando #501 program.
Cabello clarified that the investigations showed that it was an unfortunate road accident in which the leader of Popular Will lost his life, however the right immediately came out to accuse the Government that security agencies had kidnapped him.
“This is a manipulation to make the world believe that in Venezuela the government is murdering opposition people. If PROVEA said there were witnesses, it's going to have to present them, it's not going to be able to hide behind the fact that they are an NGO. The chicken bottle is over, you crossed the line,” he said.
He emphasized that CICPC is the best scientific police in the world and Douglas Rico is a great researcher. “That's why we're sure it was an accident, an autopsy was done, photos were taken and all the investigations confirmed it,” he said.
