“They knocked down the Monte Sacro monument because they hate Bolivar.” This is what Diosdado Cabello said, referring to the desecration of the work located in Italy by factors of the opposition to the Bolivarian Revolution.

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) stressed that on February 3, in a new test of their frustration, supporters of the stateless right wing in Italy “went and knocked down the monument of Monte Sacro.

“Do you think that was a coincidence? No! It was them. They (the right) have never wanted Father Bolivar,” he pointed out and stated that this action is in retaliation for the oath of the fighters of the 4F that was inspired by the one made by the Liberator in this Italian town.

“It hurts them a lot because the oath of 4F is inspired by the oath of Monte Sacro and that's why they went and knocked him down, because they hate Bolivar, but fortunately it was a long time ago the Bolivarian Revolution and Commander Chávez because they took Simon Bolivar out of the bronzes and the statues and placed him on the street next to the town.”
