“We don't mess with anyone, we always walk with good will ahead of us, we recognize friends, we recognize history.”
This was emphasized by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the 501 broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, where he stressed that Venezuela has resisted the attacks of imperialism without depending on anyone.
“We are standing here alone. This town has stood up on its own. They have attacked us and we have resisted alone, we don't depend on Brazil or anyone else,” he said and stressed that in the country “we depend on the efforts that Venezuelans and Venezuelans make.”
“Above all, we recognize history; who is the main enemy, who wants the riches not only of Venezuela but of South America. Who is the common enemy? It's the empire,” he stressed.
In this regard, he stressed that “whoever messes with Venezuela dries up”, in clear reference to the action of the Brazilian government to veto the country from joining the BRICS group, at the recent Summit held in Kazan, Russia.
Regarding this, he stated that “suddenly positions and attitudes arise, that one says: And where did this come from? Why do they change so abruptly from one day to the next? But hey, it's the story of life, it won't be the first time or the last.”
