The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, explained that seven working groups will be set up to discuss the agenda of the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV of the JPSUV.

This was specified during the installation led by the president of the organization, Nicolás Maduro, of the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and IV of the Youth of the Red Awning, the JPSUV, where he recalled that the Congress was convened on the occasion of the elections of next April 27.

In this regard, he specified that Table 1 includes Caracas and the state of Miranda, which will be led by the leaders Carmen Meléndez, Tania Díaz and the leader Fidel Vásquez and others.

Table 2 will bring together the states Carabobo, Aragua and Yaracuy; Table 3, Lara, Falcón and Zulia; Table 4, Apure, Barinas, Cojedes and Portuguesa; Table 5 will include the entities Táchira, Mérida and Trujillo; Table 6, Guárico, Monagas, Anzoátegui and Sucre, and Table 7, which includes the states of La Guaira, Bolívar, Delta Amacuro, Amazona and Nueva Esparta.

He stressed that “more than two thousand colleagues are present at this plenary session, showing the unequivocal strength and political leadership of the party that Commander Chávez ordered and founded to be the vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution.”
