The United States lies to the world when it claims that Venezuelans who have been repatriated belong to the extinct criminal group called the Aragua Train, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
In this regard, in statements made during the return of 313 compatriots from Mexico, he highlighted that the Aragua Train is an “urban legend” that is being used as part of the campaign against the country.
“Not a single one of the 1,610 Venezuelans who have returned is connected to the Aragua Train. The Aragua Train died out and its most famous leaders were taken by Álvaro Uribe and Iván Duque to Colombia to harm Venezuela; they operate from there,” he said.
In the same way, Cabello stressed that, if any compatriot of those who return to the country has debts to justice or commits a crime, he will be tried in accordance with the provisions of our laws.
