Cabello: The U.S. government is the one that has made people flee

This Thursday, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, together with other authorities, was present at Simon Bolivar International Airport, to receive 313 compatriots from Mexico through the Plan Back to the Homeland. During the activity, the persecution against Venezuelan migrants in the United States (USA) stood out

“What happens in the United States is the responsibility of the US government, they are the ones who have made people flee, not only to Mexico but to Canada,” said Cabello.

At the same time, he asserted that “in Canada they will be treated the same... The destination is Venezuela! Here they will be received by the State.”

“We haven't been persecuting anyone here, that's part of the great campaign against Venezuela,” Cabello stressed.

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace also reported that more than 1,454 Venezuelans have returned to the country thanks to the Plan Back to the Fatherland so far this year.
