This Wednesday, February 21, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that the program Con el Mazo Dando has been broadcast permanently since its creation 10 years ago, except for the two months when he contracted COVID-19.
He specified that the space in these 10 years has an average “of about 47 to 48 programs a year, four weeks only, we stopped doing the program, because we cross 24, 31 (December) and Ash Wednesday”.
In addition, “on Holy Wednesday that the Mazo union invented it, Holy Wednesday doesn't exist, they put it in the clause, free,” he said jokingly.
During his show Con el Mazo Dando, broadcast number 465, held at the La Montaña Barracks, where he celebrated the 10th Anniversary of this space, Cabello offered a balance between the transmission and production of the space.
Among these data, he highlighted that to date more than 2,057 hours have been recorded on the air, “all of this is very approximate”.
“That's equivalent to 85 continuous days of broadcasting, 24 hours a day,” he said.
He pointed out that the average duration of the program is 4.5 hours, “we have been lowering the average because the years are getting worse,” he said before which the entire audience let out a loud laugh.
“When we were going to the interior of the country, it would take six hours,” he recalled.
He also pointed out that 17,632 hours of editing have been required in production, “we have spent 12,474 videos on the program and I have seen about 10, that's equivalent to 25,520 hours of production.”
