The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that Sunday's National Popular Consultation “is fundamental because the People are empowered and assumed.”

This was stated on the night of this Wednesday, August 21, in his Con El Mazo Dando program, when he stressed that “this is the second consultation”.

“It is important that the People and the communities go to choose their projects and that they are the ones who set the priority,” he stressed.

The leader of the red awning said that it is a matter of “giving power to the People” because they are the ones who decide what to do and how.
