Cabello: The Mayor's Office of Santa Bárbara del Zulia was the hinge for drug trafficking

The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a press conference, assured that Rafael Ramírez was connected to the destabilization and drug trafficking plans of the state of Zulia.
“Mr. Rafael Ramírez is a corrupt major brand, who had the Mayor's Office in Maracaibo as a personal fief; but beyond that, Mr. Ramírez actively participates with Mr. Rincón (José Enrique Rincón, a shrimp businessman) in all destabilizing and drug trafficking plans.”
Cabello stressed that the People of Maracaibo “today applauds the fact that this man has run out of his niche of corruption.”
He also specified that since the Mayor's Office of Maracaibo, with Mr. Rincón, all service companies were a nest of corruption.
With regard to this, the mayor's office of Santa Bárbara assured that “it was the hinge for the smuggling of weapons of war, for paramilitary groups; it was the hinge for drug trafficking groups that operate throughout the area south of the lake.”
