The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, warned that extremism has a plan to attack opposition sectors that promote dialogue, peace and national reconciliation.

“The plan now is to attack all those who promote dialogue and peace, such as Dinorah Figuera who met with President Delcy Rodríguez, together with Jorge Rodríguez as part of the dialogue table between political sectors in Venezuela,” he denounced during the 587 broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program.

In this regard, he stressed that this commitment demonstrated by the representatives of the opposition has allowed significant progress on various issues of interest to all Venezuelans.

“The current negotiating table has advanced to the third round, thanks to the commitment of the political representatives who are seated,” he stressed.

With Chávez, politics stopped being a show!

Regarding the leadership of opposition extremism, which is committed to confrontation and violence, he regretted that they maintain the strategy of the show as the essence of their actions in national political life and questioned the recurrent use of lies by the leaders of opposition extremism in order to attract attention to their deceptions amplified by palangrism and media.

“They base their politics on lies; one after the other and every week a worse lie: 'I can't go to Venezuela because they're going to put me prisoner' and they arrive here, zero hits, zero mistakes and zero careers. There's nothing going on. They lied to the country and to the whole world,” he said.

In this regard, he invited the extremist spokesperson to understand that politics in Venezuela ceased to be a show with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez, who raised political discussion and strategies, with truth and the surrender of power to the people as their main bulwark.

“Politics stopped being a show a long time ago, when Hugo Chávez appeared and made it a reality. With Chávez, not only did the People become visible, but it also gave them a voice,” he emphasized.

Let's not allow ourselves to be provoked!

The also Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace highlighted the strength of revolutionary forces to resist the multiple attacks and conspiracies promoted and executed by the extremist leadership, and therefore urged to remain calm in the face of the new provocations that promote this sector of the opposition marked by violence and hate.

“Let's not allow ourselves to be provoked, we have a lot of experience in handling situations,” he said and recalled that “ where they scare we have been through a long time ago, we have been on that path a long time ago, that they frighten others, because we know each other perfectly”.

He then recalled that “we have never had the spark of evil that they have had and do”.

“In truth, we are stupid in nature, they make us one, they make us another, they lie, we sit down and talk again, but we are not going to give up because that was the path we chose,” he said.

El Mazo: 13 years telling the truth!

Referring to the recurrent use of lies by the leadership of opposition extremism and longshoring, he highlighted the role that Con El Mazo Dando has played in defending the truth in Venezuela.

“They've been telling the truth about Venezuela here for 13 years, but they lie, lie and lie, their cables get tangled up and then they're embarrassed. They have no morals, they hide and disappear one and the other,” he criticized.

He stressed that, faced with this task of promoting the truth, extremists and their longliners have unleashed various campaigns to attack Con El Mazo Dando and others send messages to be mentioned “and thus invoice”.

“If it hurts them, I know it does hurt them, and they send messages for me to show on the show, which we don't name here that week disappears,” he revealed.

They have no word!

Finally, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also pointed out the difficulty of dialoguing and establishing agreements with the various sectors of the opposition due to the absence of commitment on the part of most of its leaders.

“Do you know what's hard to achieve in the opposition? People who have a word, that is complicated,” he said and deplored the attacks to which the leaders of some sectors of the opposition are subjected, who have demonstrated their will to reach agreements through political dialogue and in peace.

On this point, he cited opposition leaders such as the Secretary General of Democratic Action (AD), Bernabé Gutiérrez and former presidential candidate Claudio Fermín, who have maintained a clear position vis-a-vis the country.

“These are people who have positions, a politician who has his positions based on his arguments, well it's worth talking to him. Now a politician who has no convictions, principles and who has no word, who is wasting their time there?” , he said.
