Cabello: The Commander's love for the Fatherland and the People was pure and true

During his program Con el Mazo Dando No. 459, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized that Commander Hugo Chávez's love for the People and their Homeland was real, without any kind of poses or theater.

“There is no theater there, there are no poses, there is nothing pretended there, there is pure love, true love, he demonstrated this by giving his life for the Fatherland and for Venezuelans,” he said, referring to a video of Commander e, in which he recounted how he became a soldier in the Venezuelan Military Academy.

Canello recalled that Commander Chávez could have retired to seek medical treatment, “but he preferred to stay with us, out of love for his country, aware of everything that was coming. He told us on February 22, 2013, at the last meeting he had with us, where the attacks came from, the United States and Colombia and where they were going to attack (...) there was nothing fake, it's real love, pure love”.

He stressed that although it was not necessary to go to the Military Academy to love the Fatherland, “without a doubt, going through the Academy does that”.
