The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello
Rondón, thanked the Government of Honduras for the support
provided for the return of 199 compatriots to Venezuela, through the Plan Back to the Fatherland.
“We thank the Government of Honduras
for all its support for this operation to return Venezuelans to their homeland, who
are being deported, after being persecuted in the United States just because they are
Venezuelans,” he said, referring to the fact that the vast majority were young people.
In this regard, during the PSUV press conference, he expressed
the sadness he feels to see how our compatriots
are mistreated in those countries. At the same time, he referred to the fact that our compatriots, when they arrived, use expressions such as: “Thanks to the president for getting us out of the
hell where we were!” , accompanied by the joy of returning.
In this regard, he questioned “thinkers” from
the sectors of the extreme right who cannot explain the joy of compatriots to return.
“Their neurons melt (...) in their brainy analysis that the only credible thing is
that they worked for us and we were
their bosses; it doesn't occur to this person that they were deceived into leaving Venezuela, but above all they
were mistreated in the United States and have been fleeing, and returning
to their country is a reason for joy; it doesn't occur to them, but they are very intelligent,” he said.
He reaffirmed that the Bolivarian Government will continue to receive Venezuelans “with joy, as brothers,” he added and pointed out that those who are counting on justice will face it, “but we cannot describe them as criminals, that's not true, what's more, I can say that from the review 16 of these 199 that arrived have a search link by security agencies (...) none of the Aragua Train,” he said.
He emphasized that an extraordinary team will continue to be responsible for serving returning Venezuelans. “We receive them as human beings, we take them to the doctor, we check them psychologically (...) Back to the Fatherland, truly Back to the Fatherland for everyone and everyone,” he said.
