This Thursday, January 9th, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the convening of the extremist opposition “was very, very, very squalid, very few people because many of those who were members of the opposition stopped being there because they got tired of buying smoke pots and have carried them from deception to deception.”

“They told them such a day is and it wasn't and it's another day and it wasn't either,” he said.

He stressed that “they are the ones who generate violence, they put a touch of violence on every activity they carry out, today they had threatened even their own people.”

“They summoned them for today and they said: 'This is over' and we say you're done with it, let's be honest, as liars, well, well, the disaster,” he said.

He stressed that the lie shows “how very sick they are”.

Cabello emphasized that extremism wanted to cover up its failure in the call, “with a big lie, with a false positive and they immediately let it go through the networks that lie, La Sayona was kidnapped. María Corina Machado was arrested and no one said anything and immediately statements from countries”.

“I guarantee you, that if the decision were to stop her, she would already be stopped,” he said,

This was stated in Plaza José Martí, where in his speech as part of the Great March for Peace and Joy, in support of the President-elect, Nicolás Maduro Moros, whose swearing in will take place this Friday, January 10, before the National Assembly (AN).
