On the night of this Wednesday, September 23, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, read part of the Organic Law against Organized Crime and Financing of Terrorism and explained that in articles 52 and 53 of chapter nine, he details that for the commission of these crimes, imprisonment can be from 15 to 25 years.

“The crime of financing terrorism is not justified (...)”, he quoted, while adding “but you don't worry (those who are depositing in that account that this is inviolable from terrorist financing). The problem is that one day you go and hand in your passport at the airport and a light comes on,” he ironized.

He ironized that those who ask for funding to attack the Homeland “are very reliable and therefore they will surely maintain confidentiality.”

He added that there have been cases of people who “are going to register assets, take out identification cards or renew passports and at that moment some kind of alert sounds”.
