During the press conference of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) held this Monday, the organization's general secretary, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the decisive role of the popular organization in territorial protection, through the Peace Quadrants.

The leader emphasized the effectiveness of this prevention and alert mechanism, stating that “we learn about the news in any country thanks to the Peace Quadrants; any news makes us know, and who does it? , the People”.

In addition, the spokesperson for the political group ratified the institution's commitment to safeguarding national stability. Cabello emphasized that “we must continue to guarantee peace to the country and close the way to fascism,” he said and stressed that coordination between communities and security forces is the main guarantee of peace of mind for citizens.

The general secretary of the PSUV referred to the positions of the opposition sectors that have promoted aggressions against the nation. The leader asserted that people who called for invasion and sanctions against the country must take responsibility for their actions, arguing that it is impossible for this situation to “go away as if nothing happened”.

Cabello called for coherence in the exercise of politics in the face of decisions affecting the population. He concluded by warning that “we have said that in politics stocks have a balance and you cannot dispatch what you said a month ago with a new position, it has to be consistent”.
