The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, October 21, assured that a group of former deputies of the 2015 National Assembly, led by Henry Ramos Allup, are planning to appoint a new board of directors of that Parliament and leave out their current president Dinorah Figuera.

“They had the pilgrim idea, as they believe that the 2015 Assembly still exists, in January (2027), listen to this: Ramos Allup and his band are thinking of bringing together a group of former deputies, five or six, from that old Assembly, to appoint a new board and leave Dinorah Figuera out,” he said.

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 586, he maintained that “don't say I didn't tell them, that's the way they are”.

He also referred to “those sectors that have been emerging from violence and have been participating in elections. All the attacks that they have made on the Assembly in 2015, on those who are at the Dialogue Table, have to do with why they are on the outside, because they are not leading it.”
