This Friday, March 7, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed the importance of telling young people what Venezuela was like during the Fourth Republic.

“I always try to illustrate how things were before, because they (the young people) didn't experience them. First you ask your parents and grandparents, these are the best chroniclers. What was it like to get a place in college in this country? Why was Caracas populated that way? Caracas was populated by hunger, because there were no jobs in the interior of the country, there was no life,” he said during his program Sin Truco Ni Maña with the deputy Tania Díaz.

In this regard, he stressed that for this reason, in the Capital City, there are people from all the states of the country. At the same time, he referred to the novel Dead Houses by Miguel Otero Silva, in which he reflects that reality in which the Peoples were left alone because people went to Caracas and the oil fields.

“People settled where they could settle. Of course, neighborhoods are like that because the Venezuelan people are supportive, because that doesn't happen anywhere else in the world and people grew up like this in solidarity; they (the extreme right) don't know our people, their evil drives them and their desire for supremacy leads them to ignore our people,” he said.
