Punishing those who ask for or have called for sanctions and invasions against the country is a cry of the Venezuelan people, said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“The people in the street say: how long are we going to continue to allow people to call for invasions against their country? Until when are we going to allow those who ask for sanctions and blockade against their country to exist? That's what anyone on the street says, that's a cry from all over Venezuela,” Cabello said during the usual press conference with the red awning.

He also criticized the fact that according to the polls, there are still 15% of the population in which these crimes against the Homeland go unpunished and added that because of these calls against this country many people and businesses were affected, so it is not a possibility to “leave that at that”.

On the other hand, he emphasized that thanks to the approval of the Anti-Blockade Law, by the National Assembly, the country has managed to move forward and experience significant growth.

“This was a law that had a positive impact. We have 13 quarters growing consecutively, with our own efforts,” he said.
