The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the need to present and activate in the state of Zulia, a plan for direct care for indigenous peoples.

“Here in the state of Zulia, the indigenous population is fundamental,” he said.

He stressed that it must be direct attention, “because you know that the campaign that the enemy sectors of Venezuela have, they always seek to attack for the sectors that they believe are weakest.”

This was stated by Cabello, in response to a proposal made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who maintained a telephone contact, transmitted by Venezolana de Televisión, during the meeting of the PSUV board of directors in the state of Zulia.

The Bolivarian leader commented that this idea has already been transmitted to ministers linked to the area of social care policies.
