Cabello pays tribute to Gustavo Pereira on World Poetry Day (+Prologue to the Constitution)

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Diosdado Cabello,
paid tribute this Thursday to the Venezuelan poet Gustavo Pereira, in connection with the celebration of World Poetry Day.
During the regular session of the Parliament, Cabello read the prologue to the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, written by Pereira, and stressed that this text is poetry for the People, because it contains “the essence of the Venezuelan and the Venezuelan”.
He specified that the reading of this extract in the plenary “is
a great tribute to Gustavo Pereira, inspired by the values of our entire
history, reflects for the new generations what it means to be Venezuelan.”
