Cabello: Opposition sectors are preparing for violence and not for an election

This Monday, June 10, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, warned that sectors of the opposition are not preparing for elections, but rather to call for violence and destabilization in the country.

“The sectors of the right are not preparing for an election, they are preparing for violence, we know them,” Cabello said in the Videoconference with leaders of political parties and Social Movements, referring that when the opposition walks through the country's states what they are going to coordinate what they are going to do to carry out their destabilization actions.

During the discussion on Forms of Organization of the Bolivarian Revolution, he said that posters and flyers are already circulating, in which the right calls for “the 28th of July after the National Electoral Council (CNE) announces the results they are going to go to Miraflores no matter what the results are (...) it is an insurrectional call, we warn this because the great global campaign is against us”.
