Cabello: One has to be authentic, the rest are poses that no one ends up believing

Diosdado Cabello Rondón, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando 486 program, urged us to show ourselves to the People and the world as we really are.

Cabello anecdotally recalled that advisors to Commander Hugo Chávez sought to change his image by recommending “that he remove his wart and he responded with that humor that he has: 'if I remove my wart I remove my brain'”.

He also recalled when they also edited photos that the Commander himself rejected. “You have to be authentic, the rest are poses that no one ends up believing, no one believes those stories,” he said.
