Cabello on Víctor Hugo Morales: All Honors to a Soldier and a Revolutionary

Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, paid a heartfelt tribute to frigate captain Víctor Hugo Morales, leader of the revolutionary movement known as El Porteñazo who died this Sunday in the Venezuelan capital at the age of 96.

“To the memory of Víctor Hugo Morales, all the honors. A courageous, a soldier, a revolutionary, a consistent being in his actions all his life”, exalted Cabello during the program Con El Mazo Dando.

He remembered Captain Morales on April 11, 2002, when he arrived at the Miraflores Palace with his old machine gun to defend President Hugo Chávez.
