Cabello on USAID scandal: The thieves who are living there are very concerned

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that thieves of the Venezuelan extreme right living in the United States are very concerned about the recent scandal of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) over the large amount of financial resources granted to operators who have not been held to account.

“In the United States, there is a huge scandal (...) a lot of worried people, the thieves who are living there, very worried,” he said, referring to the fact that since 2014 Venezuela had been denouncing the funding of Non-Governmental Organizations ( NGOs) and figures of the Venezuelan extreme right.

He denounced that USAID in Venezuela, for example, financed the opposition's primary elections; just as it has also financed organizations such as SUMATE, PROVEA, among others, that every time they have a chance they declare against our country.

“They even paid rock bands from USAID (...) no one answers, no one knows anything now; it is said that Carlos Vecchio was given 160 million dollars, Juan Guaidó more than 300 and some talk 700 of billions, Leopoldo López is incalculable, all the humanitarian aid money that was stolen has no record, it's a disaster, justice will come; the tun tun has been internationalized,” he said.
