This Wednesday, May 22, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the fugitive from justice, Carlos Vecchio, is “a miserable and traitor to the Fatherland.”

“Because when they (the right) call for an invasion against their own country, a bomb falls anywhere and kills children. How many children have not died in Palestine because of the genocide of Israeli Zionism? More than 18,000 children have been killed; and that wretch is calling for bombs against his country,” Cabello criticized during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 477.

He also condemned Vecchio's statements in support of Guyana before the Southern Command.

“I'm sure that annoys even people from the opposition (...) they're the same people who are on the side of the puppet candidate (...) We are not going to get out of the Constitution, but they are going to get the worst, which is the contempt of their own people,” he said.

He reaffirmed that in the face of any attempt against the Homeland, those who have called for invasions and aggressions are the first ones we are going to look for. “The day there is a war here or the gringos set foot here, all of us who have called for invasions, we go after them, we are going to look for them,” he said.
