The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, considered that the presence of the European Union (EU) in the 2024 Presidential Elections is not necessary, since: “What would they have to teach us about elections?”

“Nothing, absolutely nothing, they should rather observe the elections in the United States, there if there is going to be a roll,” he said while stressing that “it's good that we are free, independent and sovereign, and that happens because we have a President who is independent, is free, loyal, sovereign and we don't depend on people like Dinorah Figuera, who would be dragged into what the European Union says.”

This was emphasized by Cabello, commenting on the statement of “the official thief of Venezuelan money”, Dinorah Figuera, who referred to the sovereign decision of the National Electoral Council (CNE) to revoke the invitation to the European Union as overseers of the Presidential Elections.

“When I see the EU, making choices to elect the king of Spain, they talk to me, I'll understand them,” he said, while ironizing his position that it was an evil thing to give the king of England a job at 72.

“You don't do that to a Christian, you're an older adult,” Cabello satirized on his show Con El Mazo Dando, broadcast number 478.
