The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that opponents of the fascist extremist right, such as the fugitive from Venezuelan justice, Iván Simonovis, are fearful, referring to the failed attempt of federal senator Rick Scott, in his attempt to lead the Senate Republican Conference.

“These bugs are dreadful!” , highlighted his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 503, when commenting on a publication by Simonovis, in which he expressed his support and hoped to have Scott's support, in his destabilization plans against the country.

In that regard, Cabello pointed out that “something happened there because they appointed another guy in the Senate (...) John Thune, elected Republican Senate leader to succeed McConnell.”

“They left Rick Scott out (...) they didn't stop you Iván Simonovis. Aren't you a guy with influence there?” , he said.
