This Monday, during the weekly press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the first vice-president of the red awning, Diosdado Cabello, criticized the lack of action by the United States Government in the face of the military who blew himself up in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, in rejection of the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

“The United States has a lot of problems (...) a soldier, Aaron Bushnell, set himself on fire in front of the embassy to protest what Zionism is doing in Palestine. It's a serious problem, (but) for the United States it doesn't deserve that, for the United States government to sit down and see its policy of supporting these genocidal acts,” Cabello repudiated.

The senior leader of PSUV regretted that a US soldier had to leave “to immolate himself to protest because he is not heard by anyone (...) and how many young people blew themselves up in Vietnam and how many young people blew themselves up in Korea or Iraq, women and men,” he questioned. “The United States government would like to dedicate itself to addressing its internal problems,” he added.
